Joseph Gill, 18, has been charged with two counts each of first-degree robbery and armed criminal action, Jackson County prosecutors report. Gill and two buddies allegedly robbed a KFC on 85th Street back in December. The two buddies ran off, though, while Gill waited for his victims to make him a bucket of chicken, court records allege. The reported haul was $484, plus the chicken.

James, any info on whether it was fried or grilled? I rather like the grilled, though it's a bit fatty.

They have grilled now? I haven't eaten KFC in probably 15 years. I might give it another shot for some grilled chicken though.
(We used to call it the "greasy napkin" because they would always put your napkin inside the box with the chicken.)

Original or extra crispy?

I hadn't been in KFC for at least 10 years before I tried the grilled stuff.

What an idiot.
Everyone in K.C. knows that both Popeye's and Go Chicken Go have the best chicken.
What was he thinking.

The people at KFC should have just said what they always say and tell him that it will be 15 minutes for the chicken that he wants and then call the police while he waits.

If I'm remembering right, this guy was the only one of the three unarmed, and it took him quite a long time to realize his friends had left him. Meanwhile the other two happened to immediately run across an off-duty KCMO police officer, who would have paid them no mind had they not opened fire on him.

I can't stand fried chicken. Jack Stack ribs and beans over chicken any day.

New slogan for KFC "Our chicken is so good you'll piss away the rest of your wasted youth for a bucket of it!"
