From KCPD: The Kansas City Missouri Police Department assisted by Jackson County Deputies conducted a Sobriety Checkpoint on March 12, 2010 from 2300 hours to 0400 hours at Truman Road and 71 Highway. Eastbound traffic was checked with a total of 355 vehicles stopped.
A total number of 17 DUI arrests were made, along with 1 Felony Eluding, 1 Felony Possession of Cocaine, 1 Felony of Tampering, 4 Driving While Revoked, 2 Driving While Suspended, 1 City Possession of Marijuana, 1 City Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 3 Hazardous Moving Violations, 7 Other Traffic Violations, and 9 KC Warrants.
(Looks like they caught a lot of people coming home from the basketball tournament at Power & Light.)
