4 arrested in Olathe mugging

From Olathe PD: At approximately 6:43 P.M. on March 12, 2010 officers from the Olathe Police Department were sent to the Wal-Mart parking lot at 13600 S. Alden in response to a reported aggravated robbery that had just occurred.

Upon arrival officers located a 42-year-old female victim who reported that she was physically assaulted by three suspects who also stole her purse.

The victim was walking to her car at the time of the robbery. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by Johnson County Med-Act.

It was further reported that the suspects left the scene driving a maroon colored two door vehicle with a white colored convertible top. An Olathe officer responding to the robbery located the suspect vehicle traveling southbound on Blackbob Road from the scene. The officer was able to stop the vehicle in the 16000 block of E. 151st Street. Officers took four (4) suspects into custody without incident. Officers also located property taken from the victim in the vehicle. The four suspects consisted of 25-year-old female, 20-year-old female and two (2) 18-year-old males. The suspects' names are not being released at this time pending formal charging.
