Cops seize "sovereign citizen" license plate

In Pendleton, Ind., police seized a "sovereign citizen" license plate from a man claiming to be a diplomat. He reportedly planned to use that instead of a plate issued by the government, what some have come to call "a real license plate." The police turned it over to the FBI, and told a TV station there that it was illegal. Their report, however, doesn't say anything about any charges or an official arrest.

Yet it is OK on an Indian reservation to be able to drive without any government license plate, or driver's license because they're "independent sovereigns". I particularly found offensive the part about putting someone's name on a file with the IRS for joining a group of people who hate the government. Maybe that's why they hate the government.

If people all over the world were honest about how much they dislike/distrust their governments, there would be fewer wars. The leaders would just have to duke it out amongst themselves... Although that Kim Jong Il is probably a pretty good kickboxer.

When I was in college a guy was run over in a crosswalk on campus. The driver who hit him was another student, the son of a diplomat, driving a car with diplomatic plates from (I don't remember where but let's say Bangladesh or maybe it was Sri Lanka). The driver was clearly at fault but nothing at all happened to him despite the fact that the victim was quite badly injured. Diplomatic immunity really does work.

There is going to be more and more of this, because America because our politicians do what they want and opposite of what they said they would do if elected. Our government lies to us at every turn and views us only as cash cows to fund their happy little world.
