Victim tried to break into apartment?

From KCPD: Officers were called to 400 East Armor to investigate a shooting. Upon arrival the officers contacted a male in his 20's in the lobby of the apartment building. The male in the lobby told officers he had been shot and that another male was also shot in the doorway of his 2nd floor apartment. When officers went to the apartment, they found a male in his 20's dead in the doorway of the apartment.

The male in the lobby is the resident of the apartment. Preliminarily, it appears the dead man was trying to break into the lobby man's apartment. Detectives will be interviewing witnesses to make a final determination as to what happened.

If it was an attempted break-in I applaud the resident. This sends a clear message to criminals. We will stand up and defend our property.

There is nothing worse than a dead man trying to break into your apartment.

I bet that guy won't try that again.

I am glad the home owner stopped this crime with only a GSW to his arm.

I wish that all evidence was gathered and submitted before you begin your postings. It is one thing to know what actually happened then to guess. I pray that the truth will be revealed and the family that has lost a loved God will give them the strength to withstand.

i would appreciate if people would wait till after the investigation to post their judgement because he was a good person that will truly be missed. Its bad to be killed two day's after your 20th birthday

FAMILY STATEMENT OUR LOVED ONE WAS KILLED OVER A GIRL... NOT A BREAK IN THAT WAS A COVER-UP...ALSO FAMILY STATEMENT JOSH YOU ARE A COWARD
