Should inmates get to eat pizza?

Some prisons and jails are letting inmates specially order cheeseburgers, pizza and other junk food, the Wall Street Journal reports. It's offered by Aramark, which handles food service for some facilities. The prisons, naturally, get a cut -- Indiana figures to make $2 million this year off the service. Victim advocates are outraged because they think it's treating the prisoners too lightly. Jailers say it's just easier to keep the inmates happy.

On the bright side, of course, these meals are really unhealthy. I'm sick of criminals who lift weights and are physically fit. We need criminals so morbidly obese that it's impossible for them to run off. California, are you listening? You might have found a way to empty out your Death Row!
