Obama sends 1,200 Guard troops to border

The president is sending as many as 1,200 National Guard personnel to the Mexican border to help with drug enforcement, and he's asking for an extra $500 million to fund the effort. Sen. John McCain says more people are needed; he'd like 3,000 troops for the Arizona section of the border, CNN reports.
