Should reality TV crews ride along during police investigations?

Just following up on a post we had the other day: Detroit's mayor says film crews from reality-TV shows will no longer be allowed to go along on police raids. A crew associated with A&E's "The First 48" was outside recording during a raid where a 7-year-old girl was accidentally killed.
