1 dead, 1 injured in Raytown shootings

Raytown cops are investigating a homicide and a shooting, which they believe are related, Bob Cronkleton reports.

Police received a report about 10 p.m. that a man had been shot in a house in the 7100 block of Crisp Avenue. When they arrived, they found an 18-year-old Kansas City man in the yard, according to The Star’s reporting partner KSHB Action News. The wound was superficial.

About 15 minutes later, police got another call that there was a shooting victim in a home in the 7100 block of Woodson Road. When they arrived, police found a 40-year-old Kansas City man dead inside the house.
