127 seat-belt tickets during Shawnee enforcement campaign

Shawnee police have released the results from their recent Click It Or Ticket campaign, which tries to find motorists who aren't wearing their seat belts. (Though other laws are enforced, too.) This year's campaign ran from May 24 through June 6.

During the campaign, officers wrote 127 safety belt citations, 4 child restraint citations, 28 speeding citations, and 98 other citations in addition to several arrests. Total stops made were 121.
