28 cats rescued from Mo. motel room

Officials over the weekend seized dozens of cats from a room at the Columbia Motel 6.

Yes, there were feces on the floor, overflowing litter boxes, four dead kittens in a freezer, and "the air was thick with the stench of urine."

Authorities have charged a 52-year-old woman, who, as far as I can tell, lived elsewhere and rented the room to hoard the cats.
