Charges filed in Raytown woman's slaying

Jackson County prosecutors have filed charges in the slaying of Latoya Hopkins, who was found dead in her Raytown home back on June 15. Tawanda Kunonga, a 26-year-old from Kansas City, is facing one count each of second-degree murder and armed criminal action. Police say that Kunonga's fingerprints, apparently in blood, were found on Hopkins' vehicle.
