A 19-year-old woman tried -- and failed -- to find a home for a kitten, so she allegedly dropped the poor creature in one of those big blue U.S. mailboxes, police in Linton, Ind., say. Luckily, someone saw what happened and got the post office to rescue the kitten, which has been named Zippy. (Short for "Zip Code.")
