The U.S. federal court system is asking for an extra $40 million to handle an expected increase in criminal immigration cases, the AP reports. This is separate from the $600 million border plan proposed by the White House, but court officials say they'll need the $40 million to handle the increase in cases after authorities start making more arrests.
