Mo. man accused of killing fiancee two days before wedding

A Hannibal man is accused of killing his fiancee two days before they were supposed to get married, the Courier-Post reports. Prosecutors say C. Duane Pettey had struck up a sexual relationship with an old high-school friend, whom he'd found through Facebook. That woman testified during a preliminary hearing on Monday. Pettey's lawyer says there's not enough evidence that Pettey committed the killing.
