'You can see every little crevice'

The Sedgwick County Jail in Wichita has found a new way to cut down on strip searches. They've just bought a full-body scanner similar to the ones being introduced at airports. The $143,000 device was bought using funds generated by inmates calls, the Wichita Eagle reports.

"You can see every little crevice — everything that's not supposed to be there," he said.
