Oh boo hoo, Hasan. Two words: Online Bank. And...car payments?? Yeah, a paralyzed dude who will never again see the light of day is going to need a car. Your lawyer's an idiot and so are you.

they should give his pay to the people who's lives he destroyed. He does not deserve a penny of it.

HE IS STILL GETTING PAID????
Didnt he violate the contract he signed with the Army, therfore nullifying his deal?
That does it.....

Oh goody! Something I know LOTS about!
Been to fort hood more times than I like. Know the town VERY well. Had bank accounts at banks in Killeen.
Gotta tell you, the guy is outta luck.
Been there before his rampage, been there after. The guy is lucky he hasn't been lynched.
No he won't get a fair trial in Texas. He won't get a fair trial here in Kansas.
Dude, doesn't need to come to Leavenworth and the disciplinary barracks, he needs a little dose of old sparky.
Traitors are welcome to the fort leavenorth DB cemetery.
This guy also has given a bad name to psychology. The army has a bad culture problem with mental health and jackazzes like this guy don't help. I wonder how many of his patients have committed suicide? Is anybody but me aware of the # of deployed soliders that kill themselves every month? Suicide is one the hardest issues the military has to deal with. It has to start somewhere, but its a bigger issue that nobody wants to address.
Killeen is texas town. You know what they say about don't mess with Texas....

Maybe you don't mess with Texas but Texas is going to wind up with the world's record for cases dismissed due to prosecutorial misconduct and for law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges in federal prison.
If you want rule of law, follow the law and employ due process. Those who beat due process like a rented mule and who essentially scoff and laugh at due process deserve everything that is done to them. They are taking the rule of law away from us in a perverse and very harmful way.
Let the traitor have his bank account if the law says that he is still supposed to be paid. His family probably needs the money anyway. Let him have his day in court so that he does not get off on a technicality, which he will eventually.
One more time: Make it believable. I have no sympathy for the defendant and he's not who I'm worried about, either. I'm worried about law-abiding citizens who get messed with by crooked cops, prosecutors, and judges.

He can just sign his checks over to his attorney..they can deposit them and cash them..not sure why this is a news story..What is a news story and has been neglected by the media, is why this guy continued to be promoted in the military when they were aware or should have been aware that he was a nut case..so let me see, if you are gay, immediate discharge, if you have connections to terroist, not only do you stay in the military, you are promotoed to major.

Political Correctness is a cancer eating at our country's soul!

Pay him in fat fried pork rinds.

If they are hurting his family by doing this I have a problem with that.

"If they are hurting his family by doing this I have a problem."
He doesn't deserve the money, it is a breach of contract with or without the trial. Therefore, his family doesn't deserve it either. They can support themselves. It really just goes to show how inefficient our government is that they haven't stopped pay to this guy. Hell, I worked off the clock and got fired the same day. This guy kills people and continues drawing pay? Stupid, ridiculous. This is why I still wish vigilante justice was somewhat common

I am pretty sure that he is not doing anything currently to "earn" his pay, so it should be cut off.

If the law says he gets paid, he gets paid. If he has a family the family needs it. Do none of our principles ever apply? How about not being vindictive against the family?
Posted by: Tom K | Friday, July 30, 2010 at 04:58 PM
Tom,
He doesn't have a family. Don't you know anything about the crazy who shot and killed 13 honorable men and women who where in service to our country???
Pay this scum bag in kilowatts....light him up. Roll him into a room...use clamps like jumper cables on his chair and turn it on. Don't forget to throw a couple of buckets of water on him first. Remember Flash dance?? Light him up like a early Christmas tree.

Well, I am sure that I am terribly immature and naive to think that due process of the law should be observed and that if the law says he should receive his paycheck he should receive his paycheck.

Tom,
Your so concerned about "family" how about this. We give that money to a fund for the children of those he killed. Make it a college fund for those whose fathers or mothers were killed by this scum bag for doing no more than protecting our Freedom (at least until Obama steals it). There, that takes care of the family aspect.

If you don't want to do it by due process of the law I don't care what you do.

Pretty sure the guy is guilty, but he hasn't been convicted of any crime yet, remember? This is the United States of America, remember?
