JoCo DA warns about contractors

The Johnson County DA is warning the public about contractors offering to make storm-related repairs. Some residents have raised questions about how the sales pitches are being made. The DA's office is telling people not to agree to any deals or contracts before they've contacted their insurance company.

If you have recently been contacted by a contracting company with whom you have not had any prior business relationship with, and you are registered on the National Do Not Call Registry please contact the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office Consumer Hotline at 913-715-3003.
