$5K reward in assault on Secret Service

From Mark Morris: The FBI announced a $5,000 reward Monday for information about an assault on two federal agents earlier this month in Kansas City.

The bureau also released video clips that purport to show Christine Janna Lane, 22, and an unknown man and woman whom authorities also believe were involved.

According to court records, Secret Service agents planned to arrest Lane in an identity theft case Aug. 3 near El Ranchito Auto Sales, 4219 E. Truman Road. Both agents were dragged by a car as they reached into the vehicle to prevent Lane from fleeing, a criminal complaint states. One agent fell and suffered cuts and scrapes.

Anyone with information Lane or the other two should call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
