Eight people die in standoff in Phillipines

China started demanding answers today as to why eight Hong Kong residents were killed in a bus standoff in Manila yesterday. A disgruntled Filipino police officer, fired on charges of corruption, hijacked a bus and demanded his job back, but after hours of negotiations decided to open fire on the bus passengers. The standoff went down on live television and is expected to put a damper on the tourism industry in the Phillipines.
