I sort of went "meh" when I saw this story, but then learned it involved Shoney's -- I can't imagine the horrors that can be found waiting inside that establishment's grease vent. Humanity is lucky that our suspect didn't emerge from his slimy cocoon with superpowers, due to the high-level grease exposure.
