Charges filed in local rapper's murder

Jackson County prosecutors have filed charges in the John Garcia homicide last month, Christine Vendel reports. Garcia, a local rapper, was shot and killed when someone fired into a crowd at Cesar Chavez and Mercier on Aug. 8. Police were able to track down the suspect thanks to a broken side mirror that was left at the scene.
