From Brian Burnes: Two men robbed a North Kansas City bank this afternoon.
The men, one holding a handgun, entered the Bank Liberty at 1157 Burlington St. at about 1 p.m. and demanded cash. Both men had their faces covered. The suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing in a silver Chrysler Sebring with a Kansas license plate.
The FBI spokeswoman just sent out the following alert:
In regards to the vehicle – the description provided in previous email was a silver Chrysler Sebring. The vehicle is being described as a silver Sebring or a silver 4 door Dodge Stratus or Dodge Intrepid. The tags are KS tags – first letter of tag is an X.

Black male
25 – 28 years old
140- 145lbs
5ft. 8in – 5ft. 10
in Dark Shirt Jeans White & black converse tennis shoes

25 – 28 years old

5ft. 10in – 6ft.
