Report: Wichita saw big jump in violent crime

Wichita had one of the biggest increases in violent crime between 2000 and 2007 -- a jump of 45.2 percent, the Urban Institute's Metro Trends reports. It's part of an article arguing that smaller cities need more help because they're seeing bigger jumps in crime.
