In Poland, a Smurf could arrest you

I stumbled across this list of nicknames for police, including examples from several other countries. A lot of them are derogatory, and a few are just curse words. Some of them are kind of interesting: In Poland, for example, "smurf" is a nickname for police. (Because of their blue uniforms, not because they live in mushroom cottages.)
