Mo. legislators consider bill to ban texting-while-driving

A Missouri Senate committee has approved a bill that would ban texting-while-driving for all drivers, regardless of age. But they also gave a thumbs-up to a proposal doing away with a law requiring those motorcycle riders to wear a helmet. (Those 21 and younger would still be required to do so.)
