From Bob Cronkleton: A man died early this morning after he confronted officers with a gun during a domestic disturbance in Blue Springs. Police responded to the domestic disturbance late Sunday at a house on Southwest Fourth Street.
After a standoff, the man exited the house and fired at officers. The officers then shot the man fatally wounding him, according to media reports.
Further details were not immediately available early this morning.
