From Tony Rizzo: A Missouri man’s “perverted curiosity” led him to take part in the abuse and torture of a young woman kept as a sexual slave.
On Thursday it also led him in shackles to a federal courtroom, where he pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.
James Noel, 45, of Springfield was one of five men charged by federal prosecutors with torturing the woman, who was described by prosecutors as “mentally deficient.”
Noel was the first to plead guilty. He admitted in federal court in Kansas City Thursday that he had used an electrical device wired to the woman’s genitals to shock her.
