Kansas City police arrested 15 motorists for driving under the influence during an overnight sobriety checkpoint in midtown.
The checkpoint at 4040 Main Street was conducted from 11 p.m. Friday until 4 a.m. today and also resulted in two people cited for driving with a suspended or revoked license; four other traffic violations; three hazardous moving violations; and one possession of marijuana charge.
Four people were arrested because of outstanding warrants.
There were 542 vehicles stopped during the checkpoint.
