Prosecutors charged a 16-year-old boy Tuesday in the March 26 fatal shooting of Monte Wedd, 17.
Demond A. Haywood of Kansas City faces charges of second-degree murder, assault and two counts of armed criminal action. A juvenile judge certified Haywood to stand trial as an adult. He was 15 when the crime occurred.
