A Bonner Springs man has been sentenced to life in prison for molesting a boy in Lansing.
Stephen Michael Russell, 36, was sentenced Friday in Leavenworth County District Court. He will have to serve 25 years of the life sentence before he’s eligible for parole. The crime reportedly took place in 2007 when the victim was 11 or 12 and Russell lived in the area.
Russell still argues that he's innocent.
