Police say thieves from Missouri are sneaking into Mission Hills under the cover of darkness and stealing the wheels off SUVs there -- three times last weekend, 10 times in the last year, Joe Lambe reports. The vehicles are left behind on blocks.
Kansas City police said they have seen similar thefts over the last couple months and suspect it is the same group. ... Just one set of wheels taken from a Range Rover was valued at $8,000, he said.
