Chancellor wins award for stopping suspect in Penn Valley stabbing

Mark-james

Mark James, the Metropolitan Community College's chancellor, was recognized by the ATF for how he responded to a stabbing at Penn Valley last year, i.e. wrestling the alleged stabber to the ground.

What I didn't realize is that James has a lengthy history in law enforcement. A former Missouri trooper, he was also a BATF agent, heading up the Kansas City division.
