Mariann Harris, 23, Las Vegas faces multiple charges, including homicide and child abuse, for allegedly killing her 14-month-old goddaughter.
The coroner's office ruled that Dyon Johnson's death was a homicide caused by blunt head trauma. Harris is believed to have used a green metal pipe to beat the child.
She is expected to plead not guilty.
