KCPD returns fire, kills suspect, finds two bodies inside home

KCPD is piecing together an unusual homicide from Thanksgiving night.

It all started about 10 p.m. Thursday, when officers were sent to a home in the 6600 block of Bellefontaine. A suspect opened fire on them, and they shot back, killing him.

When officers were finally able to enter the home, they found two other bodies. Tony Rizzo is gathering more details, so I'll try to post more about the case this evening.
