Charge filed in dog shooting death
The weapon in this Tulsa, Okla., case was a pellet gun. The alleged shooter was a fire captain who later resigned.

Horsing around with other people's money
A lot of money as it turns out.
A city employee is accused of embezzling $30 million from the hometown of President Ronald Reagan. And she spent it on the horses, winning national acclaim showing and breeding the animals.

Wild animal escape update
Officials in Ohio aren't eager to turn over the survivng exotic animals let loose last year by a suicidal man.
Police were forced to kill most of the lions and tigers and such, but his widow wants the return of the survivors including two leopards and a bear.

She, it would seem, is opposed to his parole.
