This is strange even by Unalaska crime blotter standards. (And those are some pretty high or low standards depending on how you figure it)
Suspicious Person/Activity – Caller requested an officer investigate the source of an alarm clock-type sound coming from a dumpster. Officers did so, and located a garbage bag stuffed with pornographic “reading material” and single beeping smoke detector.
