More like a drive-by "shots fired" because no one actually got hit. But still.
Here's the report from Mike Rice:
Overland Park police are investigating a drive-by shooting that took place shortly after 2 a.m. near West 79th Street and Frontage Road. No one was injured.
Police Capt. Mike Kelly said someone inside a blue Chevrolet Blazer fired shots at two people inside a car that was in front of the Blazer. The people in the car that was shot at flagged down an officer that was patrolling the area nearby.
Police told KMBC Channel 9 News that the parties in both vehicles had just left "a mutual location" where an argument ensued. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
