Five years after the fact, man realizes he had been shot in the head

A Polish man living in Berlin went to the doctor to have what he thought might be a cyst removed. Apparently he had been shot by revelers on New Years "in 2004 or 2005" but forgot about it because he was "very drunk" at the time. He experienced soreness later, ofcourse, but was not one to go to the doctor.

We all scream for ice cream

Well, all but a 14-year-old Michigan boy who decided to take matters into his own hands and steal his father's SUV so he could get some ice cream. He took his younger brother and a cousin on a Dairy Queen run. The boy led police on a high-speed chase, ultimately crashing. No one was injured.

"As he went outside the city he reached speeds of 104 to 110 miles-per-hour and at one point passed on the double yellow line and passed two vehicles almost hitting another head on," said Livingston County Sheriff Bob Bezotte.

Joco Sheriff looks for other kind of tips

From the Johnson County Sheriff's Office: Deputies and military personnel will ask for tips Saturday to raise money for the Special Olympics. The Tip-A-Cop fundraiser will be 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant, 11973 S. Strang Line Road, Olathe. Deputies will wear aprons and assist servers.
Last year, deputies collected $2,261. They hope to exceed that amount Saturday.
