Remote patrol

"Into the Rising Sun," adventurer-filmmaker Luc Cuyvers' retracing of the East-West trade routes , continues at 9 tonight on Channel 19. Part 3 highlights the journeys of Vasco de Gama, as chronicled by one of the Portuguese explorer's crew members. Sumptuous murals of the Cape of Good Hope and east African coast are juxtaposed with readings from the centuries-old diary that follows de Gama into India and launches the age of Indian colonialism. Also tonight, "Biography" (7 p.m. on A&E) profiles radio rascal Don Imus, who'll air his morning show live from the Gem Theater Sept. 17.
