Remote patrol

"Monday Night Football" returns at a new time of 7 p.m. on Channel 9, one hour earlier than before. This may be the first TV show with two Boomers, as former quarterback Boomer Esiason steps into the announcers' booth and Frank Gifford joins Chris "Boomer" Berman on the pregame and halftime reports. Esiason and Dan Dierdorf will be expected to joust good-naturedly without stepping on Al Michaels' play-by-play. Gifford and Berman will originate their show from the new ESPN theme restaurant in Baltimore.
