Remote patrol

The British documentary in which JonBenet Ramsey's parents (above) broke a 14-month silence this summer comes to U.S. television on "Investigative Reports" at 8 tonight on A&E. This completely sympathetic treatment, which includes some new material, could've been engineered by the Ramseys' PR agency. Still, given the lopsided coverage of this story - saturation treatment by Geraldo Rivera and others that presume the Ramseys' guilt - there's surely room for this 2-hour rebuttal. In it, the parents explain that entering beauty pageants was JonBenet's idea, not theirs, and they speculate as to who the real killer might be.
