Remote patrol

Saturday night at the movies, at home, is downright classic if you get TCM. At 7 p.m. it's "North by Northwest" (starring Cary Grant, above); at 9:30 p.m. "The Maltese Falcon" and at 11:30 p.m. "Mutiny on the Bounty. " For those with more modern tastes, the Sci-Fi Channel reels out the director's cut of "Dune" at 6 p.m. This four-hour (with commercials) version has actually been praised in some circles for making far more sense than the theater cut that was among the real bombs of the '80s. Those of you eager for the premiere of "Profiler" will have to wait at least one more week. As a precede to the season premiere of "Saturday Night Live" at 10:35 p.m., NBC and Channel 41 are running "The Bad Boys of Saturday Night Live" at 8 tonight.
