Remote patrol

Now that Fox has decided not to aim for black audiences on Thursdays, the WB will. Its new Thursday lineup is led by "The Steve Harvey Show" at 8 on Channel 62. This sitcom, which stars Harvey as a former R&B sensation turned schoolteacher, was the highest-rated show among African-American viewers that didn't get canceled. (Which is saying something, because it came in seventh.) It was also the WB's most popular show with young adults, and for good reason: It's accessible, has a low stereotype count and is pro-religious - three qualities, by the way, one wouldn't immediately associate with Harvey's stand-up routine.
