Remote patrol
If you're a fan of such Saturday-night series as "The Pretender," "Cupid" or "Martial Law," forget it: The networks, still recovering from their November spectaculars, are pre-empting most of their Saturday shows for specials or, in the case of Channel 9, sports. If you have Turner Classic Movies, rejoice, because you have the picks-to-click tonight: "The Defiant Ones" (1958) with Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier at 7 and "Judgment at Nuremberg" at 9. If you don't have TCM, you could always watch "Dumb and Dumber" for the umpteenth time at 7 on TNT.
