Remote patrol
You'd think somebody at the Walt Disney Co. would've caught on to this: Doug, the fourth-grader whose cartoon is a staple of "One Saturday Morning" (7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Channel 9), must take action when his town is besieged by a ubiquitous corporation that seems to own everything, including the airwaves, and pummels the citizens continuously with its irritating commercials and brand extensions. Kind of like a certain ever-present kids' entertainment company. By the way, the cartoon's full name is "Disney's Doug."
