Remote patrol

It's official: The November ratings race is getting hot and heavy. Two of TV's most family-friendly shows have started talking about sex. Last night "7th Heaven" weighed in on the subject; at 7 tonight "Moesha" (Brandy) contemplates going all the way with her college-age honey. But when her stepmom finds birth control items in her purse, poignant conversation ensues. Also tonight, Simone (Jimmy Smits) departs "NYPD Blue" at 8:30 on Channel 9, and NBC unearths former pop icons Adam (Batman) West on "NewsRadio" at 7:30 and Mark (Luke Skywalker) Hamill on "Just Shoot Me" at 8 on Channel 41.
