Remote patrol

"Sports Night" (8:30 p.m., Channel 9) welcomes William H. Macy, star of "Fargo" and "ER" and, it so happens, the husband of cast member Felicity Huffman. Macy plays "the ratings guy," a consultant hired by Isaac (Robert Guillaume) to improve ratings. He's much discussed, but seldom seen, in this episode; that will change in the weeks to come as he makes himself all too comfortable on set. Unfortunately, the introduction of a male guest star almost always means increased sexual tension, which means we're going to have to endure hours more dialogue between Dana (Huffman) and Casey (Peter Krause) about their so-called non-relationship. >>>
