Remote patrol
If you're planning to take a flight sometime this week, you may want to tape tonight's "Investigative Reports" (8 p.m. on A&E) and watch it later, after you're safely home again. Look for this litany of the worst travel nightmares - including out-of-control passengers, angry airline workers and absurd flight delays - as a Fox reality special in the near future. There's the horrendous 82-hour stoppage at the Detroit airport during a winter storm; the passenger punched out by a ticket-taker; and home video of a drunken British passenger, Christopher Bayes, being restrained at 30,000 feet. (Bayes gives his side of the story, which is that overworked flight attendants reacted too quickly.) Bill Kurtis interviews Virgin Atlantic chief Richard Branson, who suggests that unruly passengers be "blacklisted," and frustrated flight personnel who say their employers are doing nothing about the problem.
