Remote patrol

Highbrow or lowbrow, TV has you covered tonight. I haven't actually seen "Roswell: The Aliens Attack" (7 p.m., Channel 29), but the plot summary looks so hideous, you almost want to check it out anyway. (Briefly, two aliens escape the New Mexican UFO mecca in 1947, armed with a nuclear weapon; she begins sleeping with as many soldiers as needed to carry out their evil plan, but he falls in love with an earthling and decides, gee, maybe this planet should be saved.) At the other end of the scale, "The Metropolitan Opera Presents" Mozart's comic opera "Le Nozze di Figaro" in a new production at 7 p.m. on Channel 19. Cecilia Bartoli is the bride Susanna on tonight's full-length (3 1/2-hour) presentation, shown with English subtitles.
